Grand Fortune Securities (Originally known as Sun Securities) was founded in September 5, 1989 with an initial capitalization of NT$300 million. We began as a brokerage house . In order to provide our customers superb professional services, Grand Fortune Securities added Sun Securities Investment Consulting Co. at the end of 1989 to offer clients a broader range of options and financial services. In April 1990 paid-in capital was increased to NT$1 billion as operations were further expanded to include proprietary trading, underwriting and other customer services. This was followed by the introduction of margin loans and stock loan services in February 1993 to provide more convenience and better risk-control tools for investors. In 1993 capitalization was raised to NT$1.3 billion as we added the re-purchase and sale of bonds to our list of services. In April 1994 we were approved for the sale of government bonds. We increased capitalization to NT$2 billion in 1996 in order to remain competitive in a busy market, and we added specialized managers in a greater range of positions to strengthen our financial capabilities.. In 1999 capitalization reached NT$2111.5 million. With expand capital and scope of our operations, we have a big step to the goal of internationalization. |

In June 2003, the management team has approved to change the company name, and has restructured the company's board of directors. It is now headed by the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Alexander T.Y. Dean to lead the new management team, which continually look for professional people to work for the Grand Fortune Securities. The new management team shares the common goal in keeping honesty, innovation, professionalism, and efficiency as our core management principle. We strive for best customer service, and at the same time, optimizing efficiency. And we are dedicated to provide a broad range of financial services that is tailored to each individual customer. |

In October 2003, Grand Fortune Securities' headquarter is moved to Taipei city Ai-Guo East road, Number 22, 14th Floor (Nearby Chun-Szen Museum) in order to expand our financial services to a broad range of customers. |
